oBsErvAtIon OF thE inTERNs 02/16/10

I had my observation this day. The Seniors who had an intrership in Gomez Elementary School conducted their demo-teaching, and asa a requirement the observers of Building 2 observed the interns.
As I observed the demo-teaching of one of the interns. I observed that she was well-prepared in her lesson and the teaching aids she used were suitable to the learners and also her approach to the students.

It was my first day of observation here in Gomez Elementary School. I was nervous yet excited. As I enter the room I was amazed upon seeing the teaching aids in the classroom of Mr. Precioso, it seems that all the necessary aids are there.
In their lesson proper, Mr. Precioso asked me to facilitate his students because he needs to go to the Division Office for a very important matter. Sir gave me a piece of paper containing guide questions. The students watched an Educational film and after watching they immediately answered the following guide questions about the film they had watched.

your face is a mask
your mind-a tomb
how do you face the world like that?
and your laughing still while the world is crying....

mask

i made a mask for myself one day,

so colorful,filled with glee

but beneth the surface lies another

aspect of my personailty.

nobody sees me cry

because i designed the mask to be smiling

nobody sees the pain

because i made the mask for lying.

beneath the smiles are tears and madness

and behind the joy are fears and sadness

everything that you think you see

is not everything that there is within me.

i once removed my heavy mask

in a place where nobody can see,at last.

i looked in a mirror as tears dropped to the floor

i asked myself, "why can't i just be me once more?"

my face was hot and sweaty, marked with a line

because i wore it for a long, long period of time

i told myself not to wear it again

and learn from its lessons every now and then.

very soon i'll shine,

and would finally stick to this real beauty of mine...
